The Club

Located on Dartmouth's South Embankment, we have a fine clubhouse with spectacular views of the river and its mouth. Together with our bar and dining facilities we have an extensive fleet of small boats for the use of members. Visitors will find a warm welcome at the Club. COVID 19 Return to Paddling - As of Thursday 21st May we are making a cautious return to some of the paddling activities that we offer, whilst at all times adhering to social distancing requirements. For full details please click here.

Other water activities - We are now providing some training for members currently on a waiting lists, other activities will commence once it is safe to do so.

In The Clubhouse - It is good that we are now able to get together again in a socially distanced way; and what better than to be able to sit out on The Embankment to enjoy a drink if the weather is fine. For more information on our COVID19 measures, click here.


DYC Clubhouse South Embankment

Dartmouth Yacht Club welcomes members, visiting boat owners, guests, families and dogs on leads to our clubhouse. Facilities include hot showers, free wireless internet, on-line weather forcasts, hot and cold food most lunchtimes and evenings throughout the season. A warm and friendly welcome is always assured at our bar. Our gunroom is also available for private function hire. The Dartmouth Yacht Club is accessible at all states of the tide.

DYC members are all lovers of the water, whether they own a yacht, motor boat, RIB, canoe or no boat at all, and can participate in a full programme of events including cruises in company, Junior sailing instruction, Small boat outings, RYA training courses, Canoe paddles as well as lively social activities.
